Chickens

OK, who can identify these breeds of chicken?  They are about 8 weeks old and were purchased as chicks from a feedstore.  These are the best pictures I could get with my phone.  I got about 10 shots of pure chicken butt that I spared you.  

My fingers hurt, but look!  I made that.  1/5 of a dishrag!  There are a lot of mistakes in it and I don't even know how to explain them, but hey, this is a lot better than how I was knitting a few short days ago.  

At the rate I'm going, I should have a whole dishrag in a couple of weeks.  I hope I develop some calluses.  

Birthday necklace

I woke up w/ an itchy palate.  I haven't eaten anything yet.

Am I allergic to cherries?

Tonight I ate a snack of cherries.  Then my throat started itching terribly.  I gargled w/ salt water but it didn't help right away.  Now it has subsided an hour later.  My left eye is also itching right now.  I looked up cherry allergies and they are associated with birch pollen allergies.  

How old do I look?

I started this blog just to play a silly game to see how old I look to people.  We'll just have to see if I do anything else with it!
